SCULPTRA® is a dermal filler that stimulates collagen growth, and you can purchase SCULPTRA® online at DoctorMedica.co or by phone. Order wholesale SCULPTRA® from Doctor Medica to help fill deep depressions or sculpt facial features.
Doctors originally used SCULPTRA® to correct lipoatrophy associated with HIV, helping to correct the sunken look many patients had after losing facial fat. However, doctors also use SCULPTRA® to help healthy, aging patients restore volume to their sunken cheeks or to augment their cheeks, and to correct deep depressions or sculpt other areas of the face. Additionally, doctors use SCULPTRA® to correct deep wrinkles and folds like marionette lines around the corners of the mouth, nasolabial folds between the nose and the mouth, and other wrinkles in the cheeks, chin, or other areas of the face.
SCULPTRA®, also known as New-Fill, is an injectable dermal filler gel made of Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which is a synthetic polymer made from lactic acid. The Poly-L-lactic acid in SCULPTRA® helps stimulate collagen growth in the skin, restoring strength and elasticity.
Many dermal fillers are made with hyaluronic acid, which restores volume by plumping up the skin tissue with moisture. However, SCULPTRA® is different in that it contains Poly-L-lactic acid. In patients that have lost collagen with aging, or that have lost fat through illness, wrinkles as well as sunken cheeks can form with this loss of volume. SCULPTRA® restores volume to the skin tissue by stimulating collagen growth. The Poly-L-lactic acid in SCULPTRA® forms a foundation for new collagen to grow, and as the Poly-L-lactic acid particles gradually break down, the collagen framework remains. This helps the skin to retain its structure while improving its strength and elasticity, reducing the appearance of deep wrinkles and creases or restoring volume to areas of the face.
The most common SCULPTRA® side effects are bleeding, bruising, redness, swelling, tenderness, or pain at the injection site, usually resolving within two to six days after a SCULPTRA® treatment. Sometimes nodules may form within six to twelve months after a SCULPTRA® injection, but this is usually because too much SCULPTRA® was injected too shallowly, and if nodules form they can be treated. No hypersensitivity reactions have been reported from SCULPTRA® treatments. There are no known product-related contraindications to using SCULPTRA® but you should not use this dermal filler to treat patients who have an infection or inflammation at the injection site, that have a history of hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation, or that are allergic to any ingredient in SCULPTRA®. The main ingredient in SCULPTRA®, the Poly-L-lactic acid, is biocompatible and biodegradable and doctors have used it for many years in different medical applications.
A SCULPTRA® treatment usually consists of up to four sets of injections about three weeks apart. Your patients may not notice immediate results from their SCULPTRA® treatment, but as collagen forms within the skin, they can experience long lasting results. This collagen can help restore volume and reduce the look of wrinkles for up to two years. Instead of an instant return to a youthful appearance, SCULPTRA® patients subtly restore their look for a more natural-looking appearance.
