  • 1 sterilized 27G needle;
  • 1 sterilized 30G needle;
  • A product information leaflet;
  • Patient record labels.

What are the benefits of this product?

Yvoire Classic Plus provides an ergonomic grip and push rod design for a comfortable and precise injection procedure. It also incorporates a CYCLO Olefin copolymer to prevent barrel breakage, while its unibody Luer lock prevents leakage.
By using a thin-wall needle, you will find it easier to inject by applying a lighter injection force. High Concentration Equalized (HICE) cross-linking technology provides a high cross-linking ratio that allows higher elasticity, longer duration of action, and safety for added benefit to the patient. There is also a high g-value associated with Yvoire Classic Plus, which means a higher resistance to degradation that provides a firmer feel under the skin. Yvoire Classic Plus also has the smallest particulate size compared to Yvoire Volume Plus and Yvoire Contour Plus, so is more suitable for superficial wrinkles and folds. In addition, lidocaine has been found to significantly reduce patient discomfort without interfering with the efficacy of hyaluronic acid.

What is this product made of?

Yvoire Classic Plus is made from 22mg/ml cross-linked hyaluronic acid, 3mg/ml lidocaine, and phosphate buffer pH 7.2 q.s.

This dermal filler is also completely odorless, colorless and biodegradable.

How does this work to help my patients?

This hyaluronic acid-based filler provides natural looking results for patients wishing to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is an important glycosaminoglycan in the extrafibrillar matrix of the dermis. Within the dermis, it forms the component of a gelatinous matrix that envelopes collagen and elastin fibers, so that it creates volume through its own water-binding abilities. A direct relationship has been shown to occur between water content, viscoelastic properties of the dermis, and the amount of hyaluronic acid in the dermis. The decreasing hyaluronic acid content in the dermis is a contributing factor to wrinkle formation because of the reduced ability to retain water and viscoelasticity. The added lidocaine provides pain control for a more comfortable dermal filler procedure.

Use Instructions

How do I use this product?

Yvoire Classic Plus should only be injected intradermally by a licensed medical professional with experience in performing dermal filler procedures. Before the procedure, review the patient’s medical history. Seat the patient upright with adequate lighting to identify the areas of cosmetic concern. If the planned treatment area has underlying dermatitis, herpetic lesions, or impetigo, it is in the patient’s best interest to postpone the treatment until these areas have healed. Instruct the patient to stop all nonessential medications or supplements that inhibit coagulation or platelet function (e.g. salicylic acids, green tea, garlic, ginger, fish oil, vitamin E, gingko, and ginseng). The injection technique and the resulting depth at which the injection should be placed will depend on the area injected (e.g. serial puncture, linear threading, fanning, cross-hatching, and depot injection). It is important to note that the aseptic technique must be used throughout the procedure.

How long will the treatment take?

The treatment duration will depend on the treatment area and the medical practitioner. On average, the procedure can take around 30 to 45 minutes for multiple treatment sites.

What can I use it for?

Yvoire Classic Plus can be used for chronologic aging causing loss of subcutaneous fat and bone resorption (e.g. mandible, maxilla, zygoma); photodamage resulting in loss of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid that reduce skin turgor and cause wrinkles to be more pronounced; lipodystrophy; exercise-induced lipoatrophy; atrophic scarring (e.g. acne, varicella, trauma, surgery); and lip augmentation.

What areas should I use this product on?

Yvoire Classic Plus can be used for in various facial regions with moderate wrinkles and folds, including the lips.

How long do the results last?

The duration of results will vary by individual based on their skin condition, lifestyle, and metabolism. Yvoire Classic Plus can last up to a year.
