How does this work to help my patients?

Autologous platelet-rich plasma is derived from the patient’s whole blood through centrifugation. The centrifugation step is designed to be as simple as possible that it can be performed in any licensed practitioner’s office. PRP represents a concentrate of platelets in a small amount of plasma, separated from other blood cells like erythrocytes and leukocytes. This concentrate of platelets also contains a higher concentration of growth factors and cytokines involved in tissue healing and repair. For this reason, PRP therapy is thought to help accelerate healing and aid in skin remodeling. In aesthetic medicine, PRP is administered to the patient as an anti-aging strategy to revitalize wrinkled, dull skin.

Use Instructions

How do I use this product?

  • Open the lid. The centrifuge is designed to automatically stop when the lid is open, for safety reasons.
  • Place supplied plastic tube holder shells of the appropriate size into the centrifuge holes. Holders are provided in 15ml and 10ml sizes.
  • Insert the centrifuge tubes that you want to spin in a manner to balance out the specimen tubes weight. If you are only processing one tube, create a “balance tube” by dispensing water into an empty tube until it reaches a weight equal to your sample tube. Place tubes at opposite ends of the rotor.
  • Ensure that the tubes fit snugly into holder before starting centrifuge. If the tube is too short for the tube holder shell, fill the holder with the provided soft foam before placing the tube into the holder.
  • Using the one touch switch panel: push the “switch” button to toggle between the time and speed functions. Push the + or – buttons to adjust the settings: 1 minute to 60 minutes for time, or 1000rpm to 4000rpm in 500rpm increments for speed. In addition, this centrifuge has a memory setting that enables it to run the previously inputted program.
  • For Plasmolifting protocols, sample tubes should be centrifuged at 4000rpm for five minutes.
  • Push the start button to begin program and centrifugation.

How long will the treatment take?
