Just like other dermal fillers in Pluryal range, this one is also derived via biofermentation. Bacteria cultures are fermented to produce high-quality hyaluronic acid molecules that are then cross-linked with each other. The resulting monophasic gel is very viscoelastic and can subtly provide volume to facial features. Besides that, fast-acting anesthetic lidocaine has also been integrated to provide relief during the minimally invasive injection process.
Pluryal® Volume with Lidocaine is made of 23mg/ml of cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel and 0.3% of lidocaine.
Usually skin aging is marked by the formation of imperfections, such as lines and creases. These signs happen because the quality and quantity of many dermal cells (e.g. collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid etc.) diminish as one gets older. Besides that, external sources, such as pollution and the sun, introduce free radicals that damage the already weakened skin. Furthermore, some people experience rather drastic aging that is often accompanied by unintended weight loss; this can make them look gaunt and sickly with to hollowed out facial regions. Pluryal Volume with Lidocaine can help mitigate these developments through hyaluronic acid’s ability to hydrate and consequently volumize the skin. This increased skin volume, in turn, not only reduces wrinkles but can help restore facial structures through the creation of a plumper face.
This dermal filler procedure should only be conducted by certified and skilled medical practitioners with a valid medical license. It would be prudent to conduct the procedure while observing stringent aseptic medical standards to ensure patient safety. After a thorough consultation, you may perform the filler implantation on suitable patients who are ready. Just before injection, please clean and sanitize the proposed treatment areas in compliance with aseptic standards. Assemble the medical device by securing the provided sterile needle onto preloaded syringe. You may then administer the volumizing gel on problematic areas via deep-dermis, subcutaneous, or supraperiosteal injections. Once the treatment is complete, safely discard the remaining gel and used needles. Usually, only one treatment session is needed to correct the skin issues.
The length of time it takes to complete a treatment session for Pluryal Volume with Lidocaine is akin to other cosmetic fillers insomuch that it usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes with no downtime.
This soft tissue implant is perfect for restoring volume to facial structures. This product is also good for rehydrating dry and aged skin.
Some areas that respond exceptionally well to this product include the cheeks, nose, lips, jawline, and the chin.
As this filler is cross-linked tightly by 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE), the filler is resistant to premature degradation for up to 12 to 16 months. The filler will be absorbed slowly into the neighboring tissues.
Besides its cosmetic benefits, which have already been described, this monophasic filler gel is derived synthetically and is processed to be free from harmful contaminants. In fact, quality tests ensure that there is less than 0.05 EU/g of endotoxins in this injectable. Also, this product is certified with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 13485 and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Hence, it is very safe. In addition, the monophasic texture of the gel allows for the seamless integration of the product with the targeted skin tissues, which results in natural-looking results. Additionally, the addition of lidocaine provides much-needed comfort for patients during injection process.
This implant is ideal for patients who are suffering from facial tissue loss, including sunken cheeks and sunken temples. Patients wanting better shaped lips and nose can also choose this brand of filler for positive results. Furthermore, undefined facial contours (e.g. jawline and cheekbones) can be sculpted to patients’ desires. Deep-set wrinkles can also be corrected effectively.
Some potential aftereffects that your patients may experience include discomfort, tenderness, pain, and redness. However, these symptoms are usually quite mild in nature and tend to abate within a couple of days. Please refer product pamphlet for a detailed list of side effects.
