What Is REVANESSE® Used For?

REVANESSE® uses a cross-linked technology to give more volume to the skin. It's used in a wide range of scenarios, including:
  • Wrinkles
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Marionette lines
  • Scars
  • Severe skin folds
  • Contouring the face
  • Facial enhancements
  • Lip plumping

How Long Does REVANESSE® Last?

Although REVANESSE® is popular for its long-lasting effects, the actual longevity depends on the depth and location of the injection site.  Since the hyaluronic acid in REVANESSE® has more volume due to being cross-linked, this dermal filler lasts for 6 - 12 months.

REVANESSE® Administration Techniques

Before you buy REVANESSE® online, you should know how to administer it. Here’s what the procedure looks like:
  • Conduct a thorough consultation with the patient.
  • Understand their cosmetic goals, medical history, and any contraindications.
  • Educate the patient on the risks of the treatment.
  • Begin by using local anesthesia to numb the injection site.
  • Clean the desired area with an antiseptic solution.
  • Use sterile gloves as recommended.
  • Use a precise injection technique to inject the filler. The injection sites and volumes will vary depending on the desired aesthetic outcome.
  • Gently massage and mold the treated area to ensure optimal distribution.
Advise patients to avoid strenuous activity, excessive sun exposure, and medications that may increase the risk of bruising.

REVANESSE® Product Range

The REVANESSE® product family includes:
  • REVANESSE® CONTOUR™, which is used for volume augmentation in the chin, jaw, and nasal bridge area.
  • REVANESSE® CONTOUR™ with Lidocaine, which is suitable for large-volume facial contouring and shaping.
  • REVANESSE® KISS™, which is used to define the lips and smooth out wrinkles. It also has a variant that comes pre-combined with lidocaine.
  • REVANESSE® PURE™, which smoothes out wrinkles and keeps the skin moisturized. It also has a lidocaine variant.
  • REVANESSE® SHAPE+™ with Lidocaine, which is specifically designed to give volume to deeper tissues.
  • REVANESSE® ULTRA™, which is used to define natural contours and restore volume around the sunken hollows of cheeks and temples. It has a lidocaine variant.

REVANESSE® Side Effects

The most common side effects of REVANESSE® include swelling, bruising, pain, and redness but these go away quickly. Very rarely acne-like skin eruptions, infections, lumpiness, and inflammation might occur. Advise your patients to come back if these persist for more than a week. Also, avoid REVANESSE® in patients who are pregnant or lactating or have known allergies to product ingredients. It has not been tested in these populations and may result in unfavorable outcomes.

  • Their longevities typically range from several months to over a year, depending on the specific formulation and the patient's metabolism.

Differences

  • The formulations differ in terms of the concentration of hyaluronic acid, cross-linking technology, and consistency.
  • Each filler has a different texture and viscosity, influencing its suitability for different face areas and specific cosmetic concerns.
  • REVANESSE® average cost ranges from $600 to $800, while Juvederm hovers around $650 to $700. RESTYLANE® per syringe cost ranges from $675 to $775.
