Surgiderm consists of a line of dermal fillers manufactured using the patented cross-linking technique, 3D Hyaluronic Acid Matrix Technology. This allows greater numbers of cross-linking structures that helps resist the degradation of hyaluronic acid, therefore, increasing the chances of getting long-lasting effects. Surgiderm cosmetic fillers help correct fine lines to deep wrinkles. The versatility of the line is one of many reasons why its a popular and trusted treatment.
The Surgiderm range caters to different patients with varying age-related skin concerns. This product will benefit those who need a safe and effective, non-surgical treatment for fine lines and moderate to severe wrinkles, deep depressions in the skin, and volume loss. Various research studies have confirmed the effectivity and excellent tolerability of HA dermal fillers.
Aside from correcting wrinkles, doctors use Surgiderm to increase lip volume and improve elasticity and tone in different areas, including the face, neck, decolletage, and hands. Patients suffering from various signs of aging due to hyaluronic acid depletion may experience long lasting benefits from Surgiderm aesthetic injectables.
Different formulations of Surgiderm dermal fillers are created to target specific areas of the face.
Surgiderm 18 – indicated for correcting fine lines and superficial wrinkles, such as those around the eyes and corners of the mouth.
Surgiderm 24 XP – indicated for medium to deep wrinkles and lines, as well as for the vermilion border.
Surgiderm 30 – indicated for correcting deep lines, wrinkles, and skin depressions.
Surgiderm 30 XP – indicated for mid to deep skin depressions and volume loss. It is effective in defining the vermilion border and filling hollow areas of the face.
Other fillers in the range can be used to hydrate the skin, improve tone and elasticity, and to add volume to the lips.
As with other hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers on the market, Surgiderm works to replenish hyaluronic acid in the skin that have been lost due to the normal aging process, environmental factors, hormonal imbalance, and stress. Injecting hyaluronic acid in the dermis restores skin tonicity, fills lines and wrinkles, and replaces lost volume. The unique viscoelastic properties of hyaluronic acid allows better tissue integration and even distribution at the implantation site.
The main advantage of Surgiderm over other injectable implants is the long-lasting results. The technology used prevents premature dissolution of hyaluronic acid in the body, thereby, increasing the duration of its anti-aging benefits.
As a trained medical specialist, it is your duty to examine your patient’s skin and recommend the appropriate Surgiderm filler for their skin concerns. The area must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before the procedure. You may administer a local anesthetic per your patient’s request. Inject the gel into the dermis, making sure to follow proper administration techniques outlined in the product pamphlet. Discuss the possible side effects of the product to your patients, and advise them to come back immediately if they experience progressive and serious symptoms for more than a week.
Because of Surgiderm’s patented cross-linking technique, the benefits of their dermal filler range may last up to 12 months or longer. This can be affected by your patients lifestyle and age.
This product is contraindicated in patients with autoimmune disease, patients taking anticoagulants, NSAIDs, or aspirin, and inflamed areas near the site of injection.
