Because it takes longer for mandelic acid to penetrate the skin, your patients will not immediately feel the usual stinging or warm feeling associated with chemical peels. After 3 minutes, apply the Post-Peel solution, then rinse and neutralize the acid using a cotton pad soaked in water.

The whole process my take up to 30 minutes, including priming and neutralization.
