Belotero Lips Contour is formulated with 22.5 mg/ mL of cross-linked hyaluronic acid as the main ingredient. In addition, the formula consists of other components like lidocaine hydrochloride (3.0 mg/ mL)  and phosphate buffer (pH 7). Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring sugar commonly used in cosmetic procedures. Thanks to its volumizing properties, it significantly enhances the curves and contours of the lips. Lidocaine is a type of local anesthetic with inhibitory effects on the voltage-gated sodium channels. It improves patient comfort by reducing pain associated with injection.
