OZEMPIC® 1mg (Hungarian)

OZEMPIC® 1mg (Hungarian) is a once-weekly injectable GLP-1 receptor agonist containing semaglutide, used to improve glycemic control and reduce cardiovascular risk in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It mimics the action of endogenous GLP-1 by stimulating insulin secretion, inhibiting glucagon release, slowing gastric emptying, and promoting satiety. This dose is appropriate for patients who have already started at lower doses (e.g., 0.25 mg or 0.5 mg) and require further HbA1c reduction or weight management support. Clinical studies show that semaglutide 1mg significantly reduces HbA1c and body weight compared to placebo and other antidiabetic agents.

OZEMPIC® 1mg (Hungarian) is administered once weekly via subcutaneous injection after titration from lower doses. It can be taken at any time of day, with or without food.

• Initiation: Start at 0.25 mg once weekly for 4 weeks
• Step-up: Increase to 0.5 mg after 4 weeks, then 1 mg after at least another 4 weeks
• Injection sites: Abdomen, thigh, or upper arm (rotate weekly)
• Missed dose: Take within 5 days; skip if more than 5 days have passed
• Do not mix with insulin; administer as separate injections

OZEMPIC® 1mg (Hungarian) is indicated for adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control and reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events. It is not intended for type 1 diabetes or as first-line treatment in patients with a history of pancreatitis.

Indications:

• Adjunct to diet and exercise for type 2 diabetes
• Reduction of cardiovascular events in patients with existing CVD

Contraindications:

• History of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC)
• Diagnosis of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)
• Known hypersensitivity to semaglutide or excipients

OZEMPIC® 1mg (Hungarian) is a sterile, aqueous solution for subcutaneous injection, formulated to maintain stability and consistent delivery of semaglutide.

• Before first use:
  • Store in refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F)
